FLYTE created by Simon Morris is a floating light which hovers by magnetic levitation and is powered through the air. Designed in Sweden, the FLYTE base is made of sustainable sourced oak, ash and walnut.
Not only do they look cool they also use energy efficient LEDs rated at about 50,000 hours. That’s 12 hours a day for 11 years!
Morris says FLYTE has sold so well since its official January launch that his team is planning to introduce a whole ecosystem of floating products, including a planter, Lyfe, which debuted in June. “We’re just scratching the surface,” he says.
